I’m so happy you stopped by to take a look around. Photography is my passion and I’m thrilled that you are interested in sharing in that passion with me.
Teaching high school is my day job. I am fortunate that I have the opportunity to build relationships with my students, and hopefully guide them to make good life choices along the way. Also, high schoolers can be quite hilarious, so I get to laugh everyday at their antics.
My wife and I love to travel, and that is where photography began for me. My first “real” camera was a wedding present to better capture our trips, and my love for the art of photography grew each time I picked up my camera. If I could pick my dream job, it would easily be photographer for National Geographic. Traveling to amazing destinations to take great pictures - what else could a photographer ask for?
When I’m not in the classroom, traveling, or taking pictures, I love spending time with my fur-children. I have a poodle pup named Halley and a grumpy cat named Wingnut. Halley is full of energy which keeps us busy, but makes for some great action shots - some of which you may see as you peruse through the site. :)
As I started doing photo sessions for friends and family, I found myself focusing less and less on getting the perfect pose and more on capturing the moment. What I want for my clients is for them to be able to look at a picture, remember the feeling, and transport themselves back to a moment in time. Back to an accomplishment they were celebrating. Back to a special moment in life that they want to remember.
If this is what you’re looking for from your pictures, please don’t be afraid to reach out and say hello! I’m so excited to celebrate your special moment with you and help you capture that feeling to remember for years to come.
